Operation of SLK-90E safe deposit lockers and safe deposit boxes with electronic locking (SDL)

Operation of the safe deposit lockers can be either self-service- or traditional operator assisted operation. All safe deposit boxes are equipped with one keylock and one electronic lock. Electronic lock is opened by the bank or operator in operator assisted opening. With self-service operation electronic lock is opened by the customer using selected authentication methods. The keylock is always opened using customer’s personal and unique physical key.

Unique biometric identification requires both the registered customer and the key for opening the safety deposit box. The entrance to the safe deposit locker room can be operated by the bank operator or alternatively by the customer in a self-service operation.

Authentication and authorization can be arranged using proximity card, personal pin code or biometric readers. Electronic locking system comprehensive reporting includes safe deposit box renting status, user activities and system information.
