We have designed new accessories for Kaso’s safes, fireproof cabinets, and safe deposit locker cabinets, making them suitable for the storage of firearms and related equipment. These weapon cabinets are primarily intended for use by law enforcement, military, security companies, and border control agencies. Private customers also choose Kaso weapon safes, often for storing hunting firearms. Kaso’s weapon safes and cabinets are the solution when both fire and burglary protection are required in addition to secure storage.
In previous blog posts, we discussed Kaso’s fireproof cabinets and safe deposit boxes. As a new feature, we have developed firearm storage solutions for our PK-400 fireproof cabinets, PTK E-300 series burglary-resistant cabinets, and SLK weapon lockers.
Kaso PK-400: Fireproof, High-Capacity Weapon Cabinet
The PK-400 weapon cabinets, with a wide range of size options, are suitable for organizations such as police or military, with high volumes of firearms in storage. These PK-400 weapon cabinets offer top-rated fire protection with a 120-minute fire-resistance classification. Additionally, they have been tested to meet EN 14450 standards with burglary resistance rated as S1 and feature high-quality locking systems.
Available accessories for these weapon cabinets include rifle supports and shelves for storing ammunition, scopes, and other equipment. The weapon cabinets can also be outfitted with lockable inner compartments, remote monitoring, and camera surveillance options.
The PK-400 series offers a lower level of burglary protection compared to EN 1143-1 classified gun safes, making them lighter and more cost-effective than safe-grade alternatives.
Which to Choose When High-Level Burglary Protection is Essential for Gun Safes
PTK E-300 gun safes are specifically designed for the secure, fire- and burglary-resistant storage of firearms and ammunition. These gun safes have been burglary-tested in classes 1–4, with some countries requiring at least a class 3 burglary resistance rating for gun safes.
Sliding bolts on all four sides of the door guard against unauthorized access and seal the door tightly against fire. All weapon safes in this series can be floor-mounted and equipped with a variety of locking options and internal accessories. Kaso PTK E-300 gun safes are available in eight sizes, with volumes ranging from 66 to 635 liters.

Locker Cabinets for Secure Personal Firearm Storage
Locker-style weapon lockers are ideal when each individual requires secure, locked storage for a personal firearm and accessories. Each locker can be equipped with either a personal key lock or a digital lock with an individual code. Kaso weapon locker cabinets are available with either a windowed or traditional solid doors.

While weapon locker cabinets do not offer the same level of fire and burglary protection as other Kaso gun safes, this can be enhanced by placing them inside PK fireproof cabinets, Kaso modular vaults, or EN 1143-1 classified safes. This way, firearms are stored within a burglary- and fire-tested outer cabinet.
Gun Safes Tailored to the Customer’s Specific Storage Needs
It’s important to remember that Kaso gun safes and gun cabinets offer flexibility beyond the standard models. Sizes and interior storage solutions can be customized according to specific storage requirements.
Design considerations vary based on how firearms or other equipment should be stored: horizontally, vertically, or in locked individual compartments. Ultimately, our customers’ needs dictate the final design. Kaso’s primary objective is to ensure firearms are stored in a secure, fire- and burglary-protected environment.
